In addition, this has taught and enabled him to incorporate a holistic approach for patient care into his practice. As a part of this holistic approach he utilizes IMS / dry needling for diagnostic purposes and pain relief for patients, appropriately refers his patients for chiropractic care, physical therapy, nutritional planning and hormone balance as needed to comprehensively address their health and well-being.

At Interventional Orthopedics of Washington, Dr. Silva creates a balance between a natural approach and traditional medicine. Rather than mask your symptoms with pain medication and steroid injections that will contribute to degeneration of your joints and tissues, his goal is to diagnose the underlying causes of your pain. This allows him to develop a plan to address the source of your pain and assist in healing and restoration of a healthy, potentially
pain free, active lifestyle. He achieves this by utilizing science-backed, groundbreaking regenerative medical therapies, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatments that harness and bolster your body’s own healing abilities.
